In an obvious post, from the start, there was Netscape Navigator, but now there is the Mozilla’s Firefox web browser. The great thing to know about Firefox is that it makes an excellent web development software assistant to develop a website.

On the webpage that you are programming, or any webpage for that matter, right click the page and the right click option of Inspect (Q) is there. Select that to display the very powerful Firefox Inspector for software development.

Across the top is

Inspector, Console, Debugger, Network, etc.

I find these first 4 options very helpful that I use a lot.

The first option,

Inspector

has a search HTML option that is very nice. Within the source code displayed, you may make dynamic changes to the HTML in the window right below Inspector, that appear right away on the webpage, then if you decide those changes are ok, you may make those changes in your source code. This is a very useful feature of Firefox.

etc.
